Beaches around Saranda run from the Pasqyra and Monastery coves to Ksamil's white sand, beach clubs south of the village and Borsh.
The coast south of Saranda, along the road to Ksamil and Butrint, is broken into small coves. Monastery Beach, Plazhi i Manastirit, is a pebble cove below the hilltop Monastery of Saint George, with sunbeds and umbrellas in summer, and Mirror Beach, Plazhi i Pasqyrave, about 1 km further south, pairs white sand with karst rock and still water and draws fewer visitors than the main beaches.
Ksamil, a village built in 1966 off the road to Butrint, has white-sand beaches facing a group of islets that small boats and canoes cross to. Its central shore and the coves south of the village hold beach clubs that rent sunbeds and umbrellas and run restaurants and bars, some staging DJ nights and one keeping a floating inflatable water park offshore.
North of Saranda, Borsh has a beach of about seven kilometres below the village, reached by a road through olive groves, with campsites on the sand.
