Saranda's nightlife runs from rooftop and promenade lounges and cocktail bars to Irish pubs, a beer bar, seafront clubs and Latin nights in Ksamil.
Evenings in Saranda centre on the seafront. Lounges and cocktail bars line the promenade and the boulevard, and several more sit on rooftops above the town centre, with house music from resident and guest DJs, sushi kitchens, shisha and signature cocktails, some built on Albanian ingredients such as saffron raki and honey. An alleyway bar doubles as an art space with gallery weeks and free-entry DJ nights.
For a pint, two Irish bars and an Australian-owned beer bar keep long beer lists, and the beer bar adds trivia nights and open live-music sessions, while a pool club on Rruga Butrinti turns its deck into a party venue on event nights. The clubs are on the coast road south of the centre, where a seafront venue stages concerts by Albanian and Greek singers and another opens its nights in an open-air garden before the indoor floor.
In Ksamil, a hotel lounge bar faces the islands, a cocktail bar runs a weekly Latin night with salsa and bachata, and a beach club stages DJ nights on the central beach.
